This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we may collect from you through the Services or otherwise, and how we may use that information.  References to “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Jade Compliance Solutions, Inc.

 

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended Privacy Policy on this page or otherwise notifying you in writing of the amendments.  The amendments shall be effective upon such posting or notification.  You agree to review this Privacy Policy periodically so that you are aware of any amendments, as well as receive notifications of changes to your provided email address.  Your continued use of the Services after such amendments constitutes your agreement to be bound by the amended Privacy Policy.

Personal Information We Collect

 

In order to use the Services, you may be required to provide us with certain information, and you also authorize us to request information about you from third parties (for example, to verify your identity).  This information may include your name, email address, age, date of birth, social security number, bank account information, and other personal information.  We may also collect information about your use of the Services.

 

You can alter or update the personal information you provide by logging in to your Jade user account with your username and password, or by emailing us at pgiblin@jadeadvantage.com.  If you update information, we may keep a copy of the prior version for our records.

 

We may use “cookies” on the Services (or similar technologies such as web beacons).  Cookies are small computer files we place on your computer’s hard drive so we can recognize your computer and collect information such as your IP address, login, password, your browsing patterns on the Services, and other information regarding your computer and your use of the Services.  The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to restrict cookies or disable them altogether.  However, restricting or disabling cookies may prevent you from using some of the features of the Services.  We may allow advertisements to be displayed on the Services, in which case the advertisements and the third parties responsible for the advertisements may also such cookies and similar technologies.  This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by us and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by such advertisers or any other third party.

 

Our Use and Sharing of Your Personal Information

 

We may use the information we collect in order to provide and improve the Services, to customize and improve your online experience, and collect any applicable fees related to the Service.  We may also send you news, updates and other information you may find useful, unless you specify in your Jade user account that you do not want to receive these notices.  Without limiting the foregoing, we may use the information we collect in connection with risk control and fraud detection and prevention, and to verify your identity and the validity of any bank account information you provide to us.  We may combine this information with information collected from offline sources or information we already have.

 

Except as described below, we do not share with third parties information by which you can be personally identified unless you give your consent.  You may not “opt out” of the following disclosures.  If you do not want your information shared with third parties in the ways described below, you should not use the Services.

 

  • In connection with the provision of the Services, we may share personally identifiable information the financial institutions involved in facilitating the Services, and our third party service providers.

  • We may share personally identifiable information as permitted by any legal agreement between you and us (including the Terms of Service).

  • We may disclose personally identifiable information when we believe disclosure is appropriate for any of the following purposes:  to comply with the law or a request by law enforcement officials or regulatory or judicial authorities; to enforce or apply the Terms of Service and other agreements; or to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of third parties.

  • In the event that all or part of our business may be acquired by a third party, we may disclose personally identifiable information in connection with that Service.

  • If you use the Services to send any personally identifiable information to a third party (such as the another user of the Services), we may send such information to such third party through the Services as directed.

 

Security

 

W use industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

 

Children

 

No one under 13 years of age is authorized to use the Services, and we do not intentionally collect information from anyone under the age of 13.

 

California “Do Not Track” Disclosure

 

We do not collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services, and therefore do not respond to “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that allow consumers to exercise choice regarding this type of activity.

 

The Payer, your financial institution or other third parties with whom you interact when receiving Payments or otherwise use the Services may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Services.

 

International Visitors

 

The Services are provided and operated solely from the United States of America.  If you provide us with any personal information from outside the United States, you hereby consent to the transfer of such information to (and the processing of such information in) the United States, and the exclusive application of the laws of the State of California, United States, with regard to the collection and use of such information.
